Architecture that survives reality
Systems designed for the messy world of integrations, regulators and growth. We have carried payment platforms through PCI DSS, GDPR and PSD2 audits, and we design for the audit before it is announced.
Software architecture and engineering
We design, build and modernise critical systems for ambitious product companies and start ups across the Nordics and Europe.
01 · The company
NeoLogic is a Stockholm software practice that has shipped production systems since 2002. We stay deliberately small. The people who design your architecture also write the code, review every pull request and answer for the result in production.
Two decades of engagements have taken us through banking, payments, government and research. We have led teams of fifteen, taken over platforms from departing development organisations and turned academic research into commercial products. The common thread is pragmatism. Technology gets chosen for the problem, never for the trend.
02 · The offer
Senior capability across the whole lifecycle of a system, without the overhead, the juniors or the account managers of a big consultancy.
Systems designed for the messy world of integrations, regulators and growth. We have carried payment platforms through PCI DSS, GDPR and PSD2 audits, and we design for the audit before it is announced.
Migrations from server rooms to AWS and Azure that make operations simpler and costs legible. We have moved banks, startups and supercomputer workloads to the cloud.
Native apps in Swift and SwiftUI with backends to match, for products where the experience is the product.
Team building, mentoring and certified agile coaching from engineers who never stopped shipping. We have served as CTO, lead architect and scrum master, sometimes all in the same engagement.
03 · Industries
Merchant portals, payment platforms and compliance work for European payment giants.
Trading and custody systems for two of the largest banks in Sweden.
Biometric passport enrollment in use at every Swedish police station.
Supercomputer flow simulations turned into a product anyone can run.
Apple apps and cloud backends for connected lifestyle products.
Holiday booking engines and integrations with global flight systems.
Security analysis and technical advisory for online casino platforms.
Carrier grade SIP infrastructure for IP telephony.
04 · Principles
We are fluent across .NET, Java, Swift and the modern web, so no favourite tool ever gets forced onto your problem.
Consistency, standardisation and code the next engineer understands will beat cleverness every single time.
Every abstraction, framework and service has to deliver concrete value, or it goes.
Architecture means little without the craft to land it in working code. We operate at both altitudes, always.
05 · The AI era
New technology has never scared us. We try it, we measure it and we keep it when it earns its place. AI has earned its place. It clears away the boring work, sharpens the thinking on the hard work, and it is already part of how we deliver every engagement.
It is not autonomous, though. Whatever the demos promise, there is always somebody behind the prompt, and that somebody could be anybody. An experienced engineer gets architecture that holds, code that scales and functionality that is actually correct. Someone without the scars gets something that merely looks right.
You get the results you prompt for.
Some companies believe AI means they can trade their experienced engineers for outsourced juniors with a chat window. We believe they will discover, expensively, that domain knowledge was the product all along. AI amplifies whoever holds it, and amplified inexperience is still inexperience.
So no, AI is not here to take the jobs. It is a tool that makes good people faster, just like compilers, frameworks and the cloud before it. Most organisations are still early in figuring this out. We rolled out AI assisted development inside a European payments giant, so we know what mature looks like, and we would gladly help you get there. The AI sector tops our tape for a reason.

We will call you.
NeoLogic runs on long engagements and word of mouth. There is no contact form here, no newsletter, no sales team and no email address to scrape. When we have room for something new, the right people usually hear from us before this page does.
